I travel to DC a lot to visit to my mom and the trip isn’t complete without a trip to our favorite Italian restaurant. Found in the Georgetown area of DC Filomena is a little gem that has been around for many years. It’s very unique which you will notice as soon as you walk past the window where a chef is making homemade pasta in the window! My favorite time to visit is during Christmas when the downstairs dining room is completely decked out in decorations galore! My favorite dish so far is the Ravoli Alla Matrimonia.
